Mark Schmidt

Mark Schmidt is currently the Director of Claims Support at Desjardins, a position they have held since 2016 after previously serving as the Director of the Special Investigations Unit at the same company from 2015 to 2016. Before joining Desjardins, Mark worked at State Farm Canada in multiple roles including Section Manager for the Special Investigative Unit and various claims-related positions from 2010 to 2014. Mark began their career in the claims field at RSA Canada as a Claims Representative from 2005 to 2007. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Toronto between 1994 and 1999.
