Michael Raimo

Michael Raimo is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering. As Engineering Manager at Desktop Metal since June 2018, Michael oversees the development of innovative 3D metal printing systems. Prior to this role, Michael served as Director of Hardware Engineering and Director of Operations at T2 Biosystems, where responsibilities included managing the transition from R&D to commercial operations and ensuring FDA compliance for clinical products. Additional roles include Automation Project Manager at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, President of Life Science Engineering Inc., and Director of Engineering at Anthill Technology. Michael began a career in engineering as a Project Design Engineer at Assembly & Automation Technology. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and an Associate of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
