Sara Barring

Sara Barring has a diverse work experience. In 2015, they served as a Summer Intern at Pacific Enterprise Bank, where they proposed a revised business plan and developed an understanding of key banking concepts. From 2016 to 2018, Sara worked as a Student Staff at Younglife, organizing and leading a team of volunteers and fundraising for middle school students. In 2017, they were Vice President of Chapter Relations and Standards at Alpha Chi Omega. Sara also had roles at Cal Teach as a Student Teacher from 2015 to 2018 and at the Student Learning Center as a Workshop Leader and Adjunct Assistant from 2017 to 2018. Sara joined Aspire Public Schools in 2018 and held various positions such as a Math Department Lead, Induction Coach, High School Mathematics Teacher, and Lead Teacher. In 2021, Sara worked as a Data Literacy Workshop Leader at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, they are a Graph Specialist & Interaction Developer at Desmos, starting in 2022.

Sara Barring attended Arnold O. Beckman High School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their high school degree. Subsequently, they pursued their higher education at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2014 to 2018. Sara earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the university.
