Kirt D.

Kirt D. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Kirt began their career as an intern at DuPont in 1992 and then moved on to work as a Senior Chemical Process Engineer at DENSO from 1995 to 2000. During this time, they were responsible for the paint booths, degreaser/cleaning lines, and general environmental compliance.

In 2000, Kirt joined Henkel as an Environmental Engineer, where they developed and implemented an ISO 14001 program and conducted environmental risk and due diligence audits. Kirt later transitioned to the role of Operations Development Engineering Manager, where they led the rollout of lean manufacturing programs and implemented a Kaizen Program to improve company metrics.

From 2004 to 2006, Kirt served as the SAP Implementation Project Manager at Henkel, overseeing the changeover of the legacy ERP system to SAP and teaching others how to leverage SAP for their departments.

In 2006, Kirt took on the role of European Supply Chain Director at Henkel, where they successfully transitioned the supply chain from country-based to an integrated European-based system. Kirt also served as a General Manager of Operations, overseeing multiple businesses and leading a team of 147 people.

In 2011, Kirt served as a Board Member for New Ventures, Inc., a community-based, not-for-profit employment development center.

Most recently, Kirt worked at Vertellus as the Global Operations Director, responsible for leading the development and structure of six plants globally and networking with support teams to drive performance metrics.

In 2023, Kirt joined DESOTEC as the Chief Operations Officer for the United States.

Kirt D. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University, from 1990 to 1995. Kirt then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Supply Chain from Western Michigan University, from 1998 to 2000.

Additionally, Kirt obtained several certifications from Lynda.com in September 2019. These certifications include Business Development Foundations, Managing Your Sales Territory, Sales Foundations, Sales Management Foundations, Sales Negotiation, and Sales Pipeline Management.
