Scott Steenson has over 40 years of experience in engineering and system design, currently serving as Systems Engineer III at Despatch Industries since June 2007, where Scott directs a team of electrical engineers and mechanical designers to develop standard methodologies for production ovens. Previous roles include managing teams of engineers to establish control system architectures for thermal processing platforms, and directing cross-functional teams in the design and testing of control systems for manufacturing processes at Despatch Industries. Prior industry experience includes project engineering for automated nuclear crane systems at PaR Nuclear and electrical design work for industrial automation at GNB Batteries, along with owning Professional Assembly, focusing on electrical system design and programming. Scott began their career as an Electronic Technician at Sperry Univac, building test systems for defense applications.
