John Bethea

John Bethea, PE, is a renewable energy engineer and project manager with extensive experience in the energy sector. They served as a Field Engineer at Hilti from 2016 to 2018, leading technical sales and training initiatives in the Northern California energy industry. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineer at AECOM, managing critical projects like the Calaveras Dam Improvement Project from 2013 to 2016. Currently, John holds the position of Engineering Manager at DESRI and previously managed large-scale solar projects as a Project Manager at Revamp Engineering, Inc. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
