Manhal Aboudi

Manhal Aboudi currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at DESRI since April 2018. Prior to this role, Manhal held the position of Head of Systems Technology at First Solar, where responsibilities included leading the Systems Technology Group and contributing to a significant solar+storage PPA with APS. Previously, Manhal was VP of Technology & Procurement at 8minutenergy Renewables, LLC, responsible for managing teams in Technology, Operations, and Procurement within the Solar PV sector and incorporating Energy Storage solutions. Manhal founded Next Phase Energy, serving as President-CEO, and was President & CEO of Luminous Energy Solutions, developing utility scale solar projects through strategic partnerships. Manhal holds an MBA from Arizona State University and an MSEE from Santa Clara University.
