Gregory Couerbe

Gregory Couerbe has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the field of technical services and project management. Gregory most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at dessIA starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ansys for over a decade, starting in December 2007. During their time at Ansys, Couerbe held various roles including Project Management Office - Customer Project Manager, Technical Services - Consultancy - Lead Engineer, Technical Services - Consultancy - Senior Engineer, and Technical Services - Customer and Sales Support - Engineer II. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in executing and leading business development projects, leveraging subject matter expertise and customer-relationship skills to assist in growing software business, and providing consultancy services with significant impact on software revenue. Gregory also had responsibilities in project qualification, project execution, sales and marketing assistance, customer support, customer training, key customer development, business development/marketing assistance, sales assistance, and product development interaction. Couerbe's experience reflects a strong background in technical services, project management, and client relationship management in the process/chemical, aerospace/defense industries.

Gregory Couerbe obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Toulouse INP, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Process Engineering from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III from 2003 to 2004. Gregory also holds an Engineer's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques, which they earned from 2001 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Gregory Couerbe has obtained several certifications. In November 2018, they received the AgilePM® Foundation certification from APMG International. Gregory also achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in September 2021, and the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the same institution in July 2020.
