David MacPherson

David MacPherson has a diverse work experience in the field of analytics and software engineering.

David started their career at MCI in 1992 as a Systems Analyst, where they coordinated payroll system programming updates and testing. David also taught a Revenue Reporting class to help end-users utilize and interpret data.

In 1996, David joined Verizon / Bell Atlantic as a Software Engineer. Here, they created programs for billing and customer care systems, and also served on the board of Capitol Telecommunications Professionals. David devised regression test scripts and validated the 2001 Collections release.

In 2002, David joined Destiny as a Sr Consultant / Instructor. David taught technical training courses in analytics and programmed customized analytic solutions for client software systems. Their hands-on classes were presented in twenty states and they taught thousands of students.

David MacPherson has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. David also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from the Kogod School of Business at American University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as an IBM Certified Solution Architect - Data Warehouse V1 from IBM Professional Certification in June 2020.
