Nicholas Dowson is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in software development and engineering across various industries, including mining, finance, and healthcare. Currently employed at Deswik since April 2025, Nicholas is focused on optimizing hard-rock underground operations through the enhancement and maintenance of the Deswik ORB software. Prior to this role, Nicholas worked at Cassini Systems, where responsibilities included extending a cloud-based technology platform for asset managers, and at Optellum, leading the integration of algorithms to support early lung cancer diagnosis, contributing to the first FDA clearance for an AI-based diagnostic device.
