Mark Hester

Mark Hester has worked in a variety of roles in the past. In 2019, they were a Project Manager at DeTect, Inc. From 2008 to 2019, they were a Safety Officer and Design Technician at Optical Integrity, Inc., where they served as Laser Products Manager, Project Manager, Safety Officer, and R&D engineer for a Medical Device company specializing in surgical laser fibers and endoscopic protection systems. Mark also worked on new fiber technology designs and laser beam profiling. From 2003 to 2004, they were President at Concrete Solutions and CEO at Hessull. Additionally, from 2003 to 2004, they served as Area Restaurant Manager at Schooners and Boatyard Restaurants.

Mark Hester has attended Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering, Gulf Coast State College to obtain an Associate of Science (AS) in Digital Manufacturing, and University of North Carolina Asheville to study Engineering. Mark has also obtained certifications from SolidProfessor such as SOLIDWORKS Drawings (August 2019), GD&T Essentials and Fundamental Skills (April 2018), SOLIDWORKS Mold Tools and Plastic Design (February 2018), Introduction to Fusion 360 (October 2017), Fusion 360 Technical Certificate, and Technical Certificate Fusion 360. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Global Wind Organisation such as GWO Fire Awareness (April 2022), GWO Module First Aid (March 2022), GWO Module Manual Handling (April 2022), and GWO Module Working At Heights (April 2022).
