Ryan Walsh

Ryan Walsh is a UAS BVLOS operations enabler, commercial airplane pilot, and remote pilot with a diverse background that spans electronics and military combat support. They currently serve as a Senior Project Manager at DeTect, Inc. and have previously held positions such as Technical Program Manager at uAvionix Corporation and MALE RPA Flight Instructor at UND Aerospace. With over 700 hours of experience in both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, Ryan has taught UAS applications to first responders and has managed complex air defense operations in the US Army. They earned a BS in Aeronautics with a focus on UAS from the University of North Dakota in 2023.
