Varun Kumar

Varun Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Varun currently holds the position of Vice President at Detect Technologies since May 2019. Prior to that, they completed an MBA program at IIM Bangalore EPGP from March 2018 to March 2019. Varun also worked at Tata Steel Limited, where they held various managerial roles from July 2010 to March 2018, including Senior Manager in the Office of VP Engineering, Senior Manager of Projects, Manager of Process Re-engineering, Executive of Operational Excellence, and Management Trainee.

Varun Kumar holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Production and Industrial Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, India, from 2006 to 2010. Varun received their primary and higher secondary education in Science from S.T Mary's English High School between 1993 and 2005. Additionally, Varun has obtained certifications in Agile Principles and Methodologies, Design Thinking Process, Business Analytics using R and Tableau, and Green Belt - Lean Six Sigma from institutions such as Skillsoft and KPMG.
