Barrett Morrow

Barrett Morrow is a Senior Scientist specializing in Bioassay Development at Detect since July 2023, focusing on developing innovative sample preparation workflows for nucleic acid amplification devices. Prior experience includes serving as Scientist II at Nuclein from December 2019 to March 2023, where Morrow was instrumental in creating the first hand-held, all-in-one RT-qPCR diagnostic device for SARS-COV-2, optimizing RT-qPCR assays, and developing novel sample preparation techniques. Earlier, Morrow held the position of Scientist at Nuclein, where responsibilities included developing standard operating procedures and expanding the research and development team.
