David Kamber

Principle Scientist, Organic Chemistry at Detect

David Kamber has worked at Detect as a Staff Scientist in Synthetic Organic Chemistry since 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Scientist in Chemical Biology at Quantum-Si from 2021 to 2023. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Visiting Assistant Professor at Towson University. Before that, they were a Visiting Assistant Professor and Teacher-Scholar Fellow at The College of New Jersey from 2018 to 2019.

David Kamber received their BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Benedictine University in 2011. David then went on to UC Irvine, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry in 2015. In 2016, they began their NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemistry at Yale University, which they completed in 2018.
