Travis Kisner began their work experience in 2004 as an Applications Engineering Manager at National Instruments, a role they held until 2007. Travis then joined Alpha Circuits as a Business Development Manager from 2007 to 2010. In 2010, Travis Kisner became the Director of Engineering at Detectachem, where they worked until 2016. In the same company, they were promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer in August 2016 and continues to serve in this role.
Travis Kisner attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Travis also holds a US Patent certification from USPTO.

DetectaChem is a privately-held company and manufacturer of the rapidly deployable, handheld, intelligent, and easy-to-operate detection system called the Seeker. The Seeker enables real-time safety and security threat detection throughout the world. DetectaChem products are simple to use and maintain, yet are sophisticated in function and design. The Seeker utilizes proprietary patent pending processes to deploy automated colorimetric analysis of extremely small traces of explosive and narcotic materials. The company has developed a proprietary card collection system that is used to acquire a sample and contains the necessary components for the colorimetric reaction. The Seeker uses technology related to color reactions that have been commonly used in the field of molecular analysis. This liquid chemistry based process, enables the Seeker to rapidly perform on-site diagnostic detection of explosive and narcotic materials. DetectaChem products are multi-lingual allowing for global deployment.
