Tyron Rees

Tyron Rees, CFA, is the Chief Operating Officer at Deterra Royalties, an ASX-200 company, where they began in 2024 following the acquisition of Trident Royalties, which Tyron co-founded and served as COO. With extensive experience in the natural resources sector, Tyron previously held key roles at Resource Capital Funds and worked as a Metallurgical Engineer at Sandfire Resources and Newmont Goldcorp. Tyron is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Master’s Degree in Finance as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Minerals Engineering from the Western Australian School of Mines. They are also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and served as alternate Non-Executive Director for Alliance Mining Commodities.
