Detour Insurance "travel insurance as bold as you are"
When dreaming about your next big adventure, travel insurance probably isn’t high on your packing list. After all, who wants to think about things going wrong? Plus, insurance gets a bad rap for being confusing with all the fine print.

At Detour, we’ve made it easy for the adventurer in you to get the peace of mind you need and deserve. Whether you’re chasing the next big wave, summiting a 14er, or wandering off the beaten path, Detour has your back with coverage that lets you focus on the thrill of the experience, not the risks.

Building A Better Travel Insurance
Traditional insurance plans can feel heavy and awkward, like they haven’t been dusted off in a while. But you know what has changed? Where, when, and how you travel. At Detour Insurance, we’re right there with you. We understand the risks and rewards of adventure travel because it’s who we are.

We decided it was time to design travel insurance for the types of adventures we’d like to go on. In doing so, we offer simplified plans with built-in protection for adventure and extreme sports—no need to worry about add-on options. Concentrate on moments that matter, not the minutiae.
