Jonathan Mugan

Jonathan Mugan is a Principal Scientist at DeUmbra, specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence with a focus on deep learning applications for spatial and relational reasoning since 2011. Additionally, Mugan serves as an Advisor at KUNGFU.AI and previously held the position of Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas at Austin, teaching an undergraduate honors artificial intelligence course. Mugan's past experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University, where research concentrated on machine learning for user policy specification, as well as consulting roles at PwC and as an independent consultant, focusing on SAP implementation for multinational corporations. Mugan holds a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, an MS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, an MBA in Finance from Mays Business School - Texas A&M University, and a BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
