Andreas Thümmel

Andreas Thümmel is a Cyber Security Architect at Deutsche Bahn, bringing over 20 years of experience in information security. They have held various roles, including Head of Cyber Security Consulting at T-Systems International GmbH and Principal Scientist for Information Assurance & Cyber Defence at NATO. Andreas began their career as a software developer and has since focused on extending cyber security consultancy practices, with an emphasis on penetration testing and digital forensics. They hold an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Diplom Informatiker in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Bonn.
