Max Gerlach is currently the Head of Project Computer-Supported Operations Management at DB Regio, where they develop innovative IT and digitalization solutions for traffic control as part of the project "Computer-Supported Operations Management – The Next Generation." Previously, Max served as a Doctoral Researcher at Lufthansa and worked at Deutsche Bahn in various roles, including Executive Assistant to the Chief Information Officer and Project Manager for traveler information, focusing on enhancing the quality of traveler information in Germany's passenger railway sector. Max holds a PhD in Operations Research from Freie Universität Berlin and both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research from Maastricht University.
