Stefan Bode

Stefan Bode has extensive experience in the railway sector, holding key positions at Deutsche Bahn AG since July 1996, where responsibilities include management of test and commissioning processes for control command systems, as well as leading international collaborations in compliance with laws and standards. Bode represents Deutsche Bahn at the EEIG ERTMS Users Group and has managed the ERTMS/ETCS pilot project between Berlin and Leipzig. Additionally, Bode serves as the Speaker of the CER CCS Support Group, actively participating in ERA working groups. Previous roles include consulting for various organizations, authoring guidelines for CCS authorization, and contributing as an expert in the ERTMS Baseline 3 Planning Working Group for the European Railway Agency. Academic qualifications include a degree in mathematical technology from Technische Universität Berlin, further enhanced by an early career position as a Scientific Assistant at the same institution.
