Bill Baker

Bill Baker has worked in a variety of roles across a range of companies. From 2019-present, they have been the AWS/Javascript Practice Lead and Javascript Tech Lead at Dev IQ®. From 2018-2019, they were a Software Engineer at William Baker Consulting LLC. From 2016-2013, they were a Software Developer at MapQuest, a Software Engineer at PENSCO Trust Company, and a COO, CFO, and Software Engineer at BrieBug. From 2006-2008, they were a Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineering Intern at Meggitt Defense Systems, where they performed numerous manufacturing and assembly functions, as well as engineering duties and system tests.

Bill Baker obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno from 2004 to 2009. Bill then attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a Certificate in Finance. In November 2022, Bill obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. In January 2020, they obtained an AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Bill also has a JavaScript Best Practices certification from Code School.
