John Janek

John Janek is the current Chief Technologist at Dev Technology Group, Inc. John has also previously served as the CEO and Advisor for Data-centric services at cBrain North America, as well as the Post Management Officer and Network Manager at the U.S. Department of State and Miami University, respectively.

John Janek has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. John began their career as a Network Manager at Miami University in 1997. John then transitioned to the U.S. Department of State in 2002, where they served as a Post Management Officer for 15 years. In 2017, they left the State Department to become the CEO and Advisor for Data-centric services at cBrain North America. John held this position for two years before joining Dev Technology Group, Inc. as their Chief Technologist in 2019.

John Janek is an expert in digital business transformation, having helped 2K+ governments and 2.5K educational institutions transition to modern data-centric approaches. Under their leadership, cBrain North America saw a 200% surge in new opportunities and a 90% reduction in pilot program criticism. As Chief Technologist at Dev Technology Group, Inc., John Janek is helping to develop a world-class program in bridging the workforce needs gap in emerging technologies.

John Janek's educational career includes a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Security from Western Governors University, and various certifications from CompTIA, (ISC)², and Microsoft.
