Carolyn Long

Carolyn Long is a seasoned educator and stylist with extensive experience in curl-specific haircare. Currently serving as an Educator/Stylist at Curl Power Salon in Minneapolis since June 2016, Carolyn specializes in DevaCurl techniques and curl care. Additionally, Carolyn has been a Regional Trainer for DevaCurl since October 2011, providing training in cutting, coloring, and curl care systems. Previous roles include Master Stylist at Uptown Curl and Director of Curly Education at East 42nd Street Salon, where Carolyn developed educational programs for curly hair. Carolyn also founded Carolyn Long: A Curl Boutique, focusing on empowering clients with curly hair. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Feminist Theology from St. Olaf College, a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from Minnesota State University, and a Cosmetology degree from Scot Lewis Cosmetology Schools.
