Waqas Khan Pitafi has a wealth of work experience. Waqas Khan began their career in 2004 as a Project Leader at Hamad Medical Corporation. In 2008, they moved to Emirates as a Project Manager. In 2013, they founded iReady2Sell.com, a Food Delivery and Take-Away Ordering app for iOS, Android smartphones and tablets. In 2014, they became the CEO of OXO Apps - Games Studio. In 2017, they became the CEO of Noah Technologies and VIRGO Data. In 2020, they became Co-Chairman of the IT Committee at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Vice Chairman and Member of the Central Executive Committee at the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA). Waqas Khan has also been the CEO of DevBatch since 2010, a technology partner of Fortune 500 companies.

Waqas Khan Pitafi began their education in 1986, when they obtained their Matric from Multan Public School in General Science. Waqas Khan then attended National College from 1994 to 1996, where they earned an ICS in Computer Sciences. From 1996 to 1999, they attended the Institute of Management Sciences, where they obtained a BCS in Computer Sciences. In 2004, they obtained an MCP from Microsoft. Finally, they attended the University of Liverpool from 2006 to 2009, where they earned an MSc in IT.
