Samir Ketema

Samir Ketema is a passionate Software Engineer with a diverse background in APIs, IoT, infrastructure, data pipelining/ETL, and stream processing. They have held positions at several prominent companies, including roles at Disney Parks & Resorts, where they developed real-time data features, and at Meroxa, where they contributed to a real-time data platform. Currently, Samir works as a Software Engineer at Kindred, focusing on making travel accessible through community-driven initiatives. They also serve as a Council Member and A* Program Facilitator at /dev/color, empowering Black software engineers to become industry leaders. Samir holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
