Andrés Barrera

Andrés Barrera is an accomplished technology leader and software engineer with extensive experience in both non-profit and corporate sectors. As President of Hispanic Hackers, a non-profit supporting over 2,500 Latino/Hispanic developers, Andrés established the organization’s 501(c)(3) status to provide a robust foundation. Andrés has held key engineering roles at various companies, including Senior Software Engineer positions at DevDocs and CircleSquare Labs, where Andrés leads cross-functional teams and drives high-quality technology solutions. With a background in both teaching as a Computer Coding Instructor and leading a tech bootcamp, Andrés combines technical proficiency with a commitment to mentorship and community support. Educationally, Andrés holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
