Lu Silverstein currently serves as an Advisor for Sustainable Startups at Google Startups for Sustainable Development, where strategic vision and goals for climate change programs are established, alongside research on sustainable startups. As a Team Mentor for Develop for Good, mentorship is provided to college student teams on non-profit tech projects, leveraging over 30 years of experience. Previously, Lu was involved in Product Management at Google, leading innovative consumer experiences driven by machine learning and artificial intelligence, and served as Senior Director of Product Management at Roku Inc., where new audio and streaming video product experiences were developed. Additionally, Lu held the position of Vice President of Product Management at Westfield Retail Solutions, introducing groundbreaking technology like the first chatbot for airports. Lu holds a Bachelor of Science in Geomechanics from the University of Rochester and has studied Climatology and Intensive Mandarin at the National University of Singapore.
