Nathan Chembe

Nathan Chembe is an experienced Geotechnical Engineer currently working at DEVELOP since January 2025. Prior to that, Nathan held positions as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Mining One Consultants from October 2022 to February 2025, and at Newcrest Mining from August 2020 to September 2022. Additional experience includes a tenure as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Aurelia Metals Ltd for a brief period in mid-2020, as well as at Heron Resources Limited and BHP from 2019 to 2019 and 2017 to 2019, respectively. Nathan's career began at CSA Mine (Glencore) in 2012, with earlier roles including Geotechnical Engineer at Chibuluma Mines Plc and Rock Mechanics Engineer at Mopani Copper Mines PLC. Nathan is pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Geotechnical Engineering at UNSW and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from Copperbelt University, obtained in 2005.
