DEVCON is the Philippines largest community of developers, technology experts and enthusiasts. We aim to promote collaborative growth and global competence of Filipino developers in the academe and IT industry by providing a unique venue for everyone to Sync, Support, and Succeed.

Our Programs and Projects

1. Known for hosting free unconferences for IT students, educators, professionals and enthusiasts, since June 2009 with 6 local chapters across the country -Manila,  Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo.

2. We've done hackathons and innovation challenges in partnership with different organizations, enterprise, and government agencies.

3. Since 2013, we've been hosting the biggest developer conference in the country DEVCON Summit, a  2 day Tech Summit which becomes the a platform for developers and industry leaders to hear insightful keynote speakers, see unique exhibits, and experience highly curated sessions that are designed for the Filipino computer programmers.

5. DEVCON Community of Technology Experts (DCTx) is a volunteer-based global community working in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to develop digital solutions that will help government response efforts to the COVID-19 pandemic (www.dctx.ph) 

6. Hack a Tax Innovation Challenge in partnership with BIR and USAID Philippines
The challenge for the competitors was to simplify and streamline frontline services, including taxpayer registration, filing, payment and customer service processes, that cater to micro and small enterprises, including self-employed individuals and professionals (www.hackatax.ph)
