Kanika Verma leads the Green and Inclusive Entrepreneurship vertical of the Development Alternatives Group and is a part of the founding team and Director of the Indian Micro Enterprises Development Foundation. Passionate about social innovation, they have been instrumental in fostering collaboration through the co-founding of Systems Play. Kanika currently directs the “Work 4 Progress” programme supported by la Caixa Banking Foundation, focusing on job creation for women and youth. They are pursuing an M.Phil. in Inclusive Innovation at the University of Cape Town and previously founded and led a financial investment firm in the U.S. for nearly six years before joining Development Alternatives Group in 2011.
