Tom Haefner has extensive experience in mental health services, currently serving as a Clinical Therapist at Development Centers since January 2006, where responsibilities include individual and group therapy, psycho-educational group facilitation, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and assessments. Additionally, since July 2005, Tom has worked part-time as a Telephonic Crisis Screener for Community Outreach for Psychiatric Emergencies (C.O.P.E.), conducting phone assessments to determine appropriate mental health placements. Previous roles include Therapist at New Center Community Mental Health Services from November 1998 to January 2006, where Tom provided intensive casework and counseling to individuals with severe mental illness, and Pastoral Care Pastor at Ann Arbor Assembly of God from February 2001 to March 2004, overseeing small group ministry and providing pastoral care. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.
