Bob Thommen

Bob Thommen has extensive experience in construction management and inspection, beginning as a Surveyor at KCI Technologies, Inc. from June 1983 to June 1985. Subsequently, Bob served as the CEMM Team Leader at the Maryland State Highway Administration from June 1985 to October 2011, where responsibilities included managing multiple statewide Construction Inspection contracts valued at $100 million and leading the procurement process for new contracts. From 1982 to 2002, Bob worked as an Operations Specialist for MIUW 210. Since November 2011, Bob has been the Contract Manager and Construction Inspection Supervisor at Development Facilitators, Inc., providing management and inspection services to various state and county agencies while overseeing inspector assignments. Bob Thommen is an alumnus of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, where an engineering degree was obtained from 1973 to 1976.
