Darren Cooper

Cooper is a company director and strategic advisor. They currently serve as Board Chair of Spectur (2018–Present), Ocean Gardens Retirement Village (2020–Present), DevelopmentWA (2021–Present), and Long Point Brewery (2024–Present), and as Deputy Chair of Foundation Housing (2017–Present). They are also the Co-Founder & Director of Legend Media Group (2017–Present) and the Managing Director of Development Capital Management Pty Ltd (2017–Present). Their prior roles included Chief Executive Officer at Blackburne (2014–2017), Development Director at Mirvac (1998–2007), and Senior Commercial Account Manager at Bankwest (1989–1998). Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University (1995–1997), a Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Valuation & Land Economics) from Curtin University (1986–1990), and a Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (2013).
