Chethika Gunasiri

Chethika Gunasiri is a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Tokyo since November 2023. With extensive experience as an Environmental Scientist at Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation since February 2014, Chethika provides expert advice on wetland management, project management for habitat restoration, and stakeholder liaison, along with conducting water and soil quality assessments. Additionally, Chethika serves as Consultant Research Director at DevelopMetrics since February 2021 and previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Colombo from 2009 to 2011, teaching zoology, environmental science, and biochemistry. Chethika holds a PhD in Sustainability Science from the United Nations University, an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, an MSc in Earth Science from Chinese Culture University, and a B.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Colombo.
