Tania Karas

Tania Karas is a Senior Editor at Devex, where they focus on food systems and sustainability while managing reporters covering international development, climate change, and agriculture. They co-write a weekly newsletter on food systems transformation called Devex Dish. Tania has a Master’s degree with distinction in international human rights law from the University of Oxford and participated in the Poynter Institute's Leadership Academy for Women in Media in 2021. They have reported from various countries, including Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon, and have held roles such as managing editor at Refugees Deeply and deputy editor at GBH. Tania is currently pursuing studies at Istanbul Bilgi University and Northwestern University.
