Laura Guzmán

Laura Guzmán is a skilled strategist and communicator with over fourteen years of experience in technology, social impact, and organizational strategy. They have led global systems and communications for DevGlobal and served as Co-Deputy Director at The Engine Room, collaborating with various initiatives backed by prominent organizations such as NASA and Amnesty International. Earlier in their career, Laura explored the intersection of technology and human rights at the Open Society Foundations and contributed to economic opportunities in India as a Clinton Fellow at iMerit. Currently residing in Portland, Oregon, they are dedicated to both strategic leadership at DevGlobal and board membership with the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team and Wonderfolk. Laura holds a master's degree from The New School, where they conducted research on urban development in Uganda.
