Yousif Omer

Yousif Omer is the President and CEO of Device Cortex MSSP, a Washington, D.C.-area managed security services provider focused on cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and compliance. They lead strategy and operations, oversee service delivery and partnerships, and steer 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and AI-driven service innovation. Prior to this role, they served as President and CEO of Mid Atlantic Care from 2017 to 2025, an emergency and non-emergency ambulance provider with over 200 employees and four offices, and previously held leadership positions at ULLICO (Vice President, Program Management 2007–2017; Director, IT Program Management) as well as roles at Kaiser Permanente and Verizon. They earned an MBA from The George Washington University in 2005 and a degree in Electrical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from Hampton University (1993–1997).
