Andy Roberts

Andy Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andy most recently worked at Device42 as a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Solutions Architect EMEA at Nebulon, a Silicon Valley-based startup redefining storage for Hybrid IT from November 2019 to January 2023.

In 2019, Andy took a break from work at On the beach, and before that, they were a Principal Architect - Global Accounts at NetApp from May 2017 to November 2019. Andy also worked at SolidFire, Inc., where they held various roles, including Principal Architect and Senior Systems Engineer, International from 2013 to 2017.

Before joining SolidFire, they worked at NetApp as a Service Provider Architect - Telco and Service Provider, EMEA from 2009 to 2013 and as an Enterprise Sales Engineer for BT Group plc from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they worked at Tiscali UK as a Systems Engineer from 2001 to 2004 and at redtechnology.com as a Systems Engineer from 2000 to 2001.

Their early career involved working at Oxford University Press as an Infrastructure Consultant from 1997 to 2000 and as a Help Desk Engineer from 1996 to 1997. Andy has a broad range of experience in solution design, implementation, pre-sales, storage, and cloud technologies.

Andy Roberts obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Computing from Oxford Brookes University between the years 1993 and 1998.
