Thomas Weisgerber

Thomas Weisgerber has extensive work experience in the insurance and actuarial field. Thomas is currently the Head of Quantitative Risk Management at DEVK Versicherungen. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Actuary Life Actuarial Governance at ERGO Group AG from 2018 to 2022. Thomas also held positions as a Senior Client Manager Life / Actuary DAV at Deutsche Rückversicherung AG, Life Best Estimates Liabilities Actuary at SCOR, and Internal Auditor at Generali Deutschland AG. Additionally, they worked at Generali as a Life Actuary and Financial Analyst. Thomas started their career as a Working Student at KPMG and Gothaer. Thomas began their professional journey as a Callcenter Employee at DEVK Versicherungen and also had an internship in corporate controlling within the same company.

Thomas Weisgerber completed their education in a variety of fields. Thomas began in 1999 at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, where they earned a degree in Kirchenmusik with a C-Examen. In 2001, they enrolled at DEVK Versicherungen / Berufskolleg Südstadt, where they obtained a degree in Versicherungskaufmann (Insurance Salesman). From 2004 to 2008, Weisgerber attended Universität zu Köln, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration, specifically in Diplomkaufmann. Finally, from 2011 to 2016, they studied at Deutsche Aktuarvereinigung e.V., where they earned a degree in Aktuar DAV.
