Christian McCarthy

Christian McCarthy is a Senior Developer at Devmatics. Prior to joining Devmatics, Christian was a Senior Software Engineer at WesternCPE.com from September 2016 to July 2019. In their role at WesternCPE, Christian worked in a tech lead role for a year and a half, researching alternatives for the software road map while managing a significant amount of marketing and operations, including SEO, PPC, email campaigns with segmentation and contact list management, creating work flow operations for customer service, establishing processes for event registration and customer integration, and managing 3rd party accounts/billing utilized by Western CPE. Christian also led the development of the Webcast System, a front-end web application built with Vue.js that creates/manages webcasts utilizing s3, JWPlayer and Western CPE API's. Additionally, Christian co-built the marketing / commerce website using jQuery/Javascript, SASS, ASP.NET MVC using Umbraco CMS and Entity Framework for API services.

Christian McCarthy has a Bachelor's degree in Geophysics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Christian is certified in Sitecore XP 8 Website Development for .NET Developers from Sitecore.
