Steve Ptak

Steve Ptak has been in the software and hardware solutions industry since 2008. Steve began their career as a GIS Technician at Whiteside County, IL GIS Dept. Steve then moved to Bruce Harris & Associates, Inc. where they held the roles of Solutions Consultant/ Special Projects Supervisor, Special Projects Supervisor/ Senior GIS Analyst, and GIS Specialist. In 2016, they joined DEVNET Incorporated as a Project Manager and GIS Product Manager. In their role as GIS Product Manager, they were responsible for providing real-time GIS integration with authoritative CAMA and Tax Data using Esri's ArcGIS Platform. Steve has served over 120 jurisdictions across 11 states.

Steve Ptak obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Urban/Economic Geography from Northern Illinois University between 2004 and 2008. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications, including a C# Programming Series from Elgin Community College in August 2017, a Do-It-Yourself Geo Apps in February 2016, The Hour of Code from Code.org in December 2015, and a Geographic Information Systems Certification from Northern Illinois University in August 2008.
