Ric Victores Cmp

Ric Victores, CMP, MBA has a diverse work experience in event planning, production, and management. Ric founded ImagineX Productions in 2015, where they provided full-scale event planning and production services. Ric also served as the Executive Producer and Director for the company. Prior to that, Ric worked as the Virtual + In-Person Event Production Director and Head of Operations at DevNetwork from 2014 to 2015. In these roles, they managed tactical operations, customer request management, project information management, and conference production information management. Ric was also responsible for corporate information management, including vendor and employee contract management.

In 2019, Ric joined the Stern Grove Festival Association as the Business Manager and later took on the role of House Manager. As the Business Manager, they focused on improving the organization's financial, human resources, and administrative functions. As the House Manager, they oversaw the recruitment, hiring, scheduling, and management of the Operations Staff. Ric ensured the safety and comfort of patrons and managed on-site operational needs.

Ric also has experience in managing large-scale events. Ric worked as the Main Stage Manager for San Francisco Pride from 2015 to 2021, where they managed volunteers, backstage credentialing, and artist transportation. Ric was also a Partner Producer for the Cosmic Convergence Festival from 2014 to 2020, leading the production design and execution, as well as coordinating the staff and media team.

Additionally, Ric has experience in virtual event production. Ric served as the Virtual Event Producer for Funding Stack Summit in 2020, where they led the production management of a planned physical event that was moved online. Ric was also the Lead Producer for By the Bay, a developers' conference, from 2014 to 2020.

Ric has further demonstrated their expertise in event management through their role as the Lead Producer for A Healthier WE in 2019. Ric organized the Healthier Rural West Summit and provided solutions for improving rural health. Ric also served as the Producer and CoCreator of Experience Design for the Northern Nights Music Festival from 2013 to 2018, and as the Producer, Operations Manager, and Feel Good Crew Coordinator for the Peace in the Park Festival SF, organized by Brahma Kumaris, from 2013 to 2016.

Ric Victores, CMP, MBA has a diverse educational background. Ric earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Leadership from Florida International University in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management with an emphasis in Event Management from San Francisco State University between 2011 and 2013. Additionally, Ric holds an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Orange Coast College, which they completed from 2009 to 2011.

Ric has also pursued several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Ric obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from the Events Industry Council in July 2021. In February 2021, they became a Pandemic Compliance Advisor for Meeting Industry Professionals through Health Education Services. Ric holds the Event DEI Strategist certification from the Event Leadership Institute, which they acquired in April 2022. Additionally, they obtained the HR Management Certification from HR University in August 2022. Lastly, Ric acquired the Sustainable Event Professional Certificate (SEPC) from the Events Industry Council in November 2022.
