Yingjun Wu is the Founder and CEO of RisingWave Labs, where efforts focus on developing a data platform tailored for event-driven workloads since 2021. In addition to this role, Yingjun Wu serves on the Advisory Board for the Cloud at DevNetwork. Prior experience includes a position as a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services from 2019 to 2021, contributing to vectorization, compression, elastic scaling, and materialized views in Amazon Redshift. Between 2017 and 2019, Yingjun Wu worked as a Researcher at IBM's Almaden Research Center, focusing on indexing, storage, transaction systems, and machine learning-enhanced components in IBM Db2 Event Store and IBM Db2. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and a Visiting Ph.D. status at Carnegie Mellon University.
