Chris Bowie is a seasoned geologist with extensive expertise in the energy sector, currently serving as the Technical Lead for Devon Energy Ventures since August 2014. In this role, Chris oversees the technical characterization and evaluation of new energy projects, focusing on areas such as Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS), Hydrogen production, geothermal energy, mineral extraction, and other alternative energy resources. Prior to this, Chris held positions as a Senior Geologist and a Geoscience Intern at Devon Energy, and gained academic experience as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at California State University, Fresno, where studies concentrated on sedimentology, stratigraphy, and structural geology.
