Douglas McCartney is an experienced oil and gas professional with a diverse background in operations, management, and engineering. Currently serving as a Workover Field Supervisor and Consultant at Devon Energy since May 2021, Douglas previously held various roles at QEP Resources from May 2007 to May 2021, including Completions/Frac and Workover Consultant, General Manager of multiple operating assets, and Drilling Superintendent, overseeing significant operations across the Permian Basin and Bakken. Douglas also held a Vice President position in the WGLS Division at Wood Group from 1995 to 2007, managed Western Hemisphere operations for Camesa from 1993 to 1995, and served as Area Manager at Baker Hughes from 1983 to 1993, where responsibilities included field operations and team oversight. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and completed the General Management program at Harvard Business School in 2000.
