Layne Britton is a well-qualified geologist with extensive experience in operations and drilling over multiple companies in the energy sector. Currently serving as WellCon Geologist 4 at Devon Energy since February 2021, Layne has previously held positions as Operations Geologist II at WPX Energy and Senior Operations Geologist at Southwestern Energy, where responsibilities included geosteering and planning for wells in the Fayetteville Shale. Layne's career began as a Geologist's Assistant at Finite Resources Ltd. and has a strong educational background with a Master's in Geology from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Northwest Missouri State University.
