Matthew Herrin

Matthew Herrin is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the petroleum industry. They served as a District Geologist at Chesapeake Energy Corporation from 2006 to 2012, where they supervised the drilling of over 200 horizontal wells in Texas, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Currently, they are a Senior Geologist at Devon Energy, specializing in geomodeling for the Anadarko and South Texas assets. Herrin's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, as well as an M.S. in Geology and a B.S. in Geology, all from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and the University of Oklahoma.
