Matthew Walters

Matthew Walters has extensive experience in joint venture auditing within the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Senior Joint Venture Auditor at Devon Energy since December 2014, where responsibilities include leading audits and reviewing charges to the Joint Account. Prior experience includes a similar role at Chesapeake Energy from 2006 to 2014, where Matthew coordinated audit preparations and independently prepared audit reports. Matthew also held positions in senior accounting and accounts payable, developing accounting processes and gaining a foundational understanding of oil and gas accounting. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from East Central University, earned between 2002 and 2004.
